Your vocational training abroad

Following the Lisbon strategy, which emphasizes the creation of a more competitive and dynamic knowledge-based society, international mobility and internationalisation of the universities may represent a strategic tool for a social, cultural and economic development of a country. They can be considered as a challenge and an opportunity for the involved Higher Institutions to enlarge and enrich the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP).

The decision No 1720/2006 EC of the European Parliament of 15 November 2006 established an action programme in the field of lifelong learning. The general objective of the Lifelong learning Programme is to contribute through lifelong learning to the development of the Community as an advanced knowledge –based society, with sustainable economic development, more and better jobs and greater social cohesion, while ensuring good protection of the environment for future generations. In particular, it aims to foster interchange, cooperation and mobility between education and training systems within the Community so that they become a world quality reference.
